Managing Director, Igshaan Safodien, completed extensive THX training in 2000 at George Lucas’s film studio, ‘Skywalker Ranch’’ in San Rafael, California. At THX offices and Skywalker Ranch, home theatre professionals learn how films are created in studios, the effects of room acoustics and how to match the right combination of home theatre products to produce the best results.

Signals are also the import agents for Naim Audio and MK Sound for almost 15 years. In addition to this we also import the highly acclaimed JVC DILA Projectors, Panamorph Anamorphic lenses and OS Projection Screens for distribution in South Africa to only selected retailers and reputable custom installers.

Naim Audio now have multi-room audio systems available under the brand, “NaimNet,” which allow music to follow you seamlessly throughout the house instead of pinning you to a single seat. These systems allow different family members to indulge their own interests in different rooms, or zones, with operation managed from a simple-to-use touch screen wall panels, keypads, or from table-top interactive controllers, a web browser on any PC or even your apple iPhone to control audio, video, room lighting, open and close the curtains, change temperature setting of air conditioner, or even take care of home security cameras. This is the wonderful world of home automation.

Recently we now offer our customers the services of renting audio visual systems, games and movies on DVD and Blu-ray disc. Since we at Signals are avid music and film buffs, we take pride of having a selection of 10 000 DVDs available for rental including very rare classic movies which we imported exclusively ranging from 1930s to 1980s such as classic westerns, war, horror, musicals and film noir classics.
